  • When you come to the end of your jewelry making project decide on which knot or crimp bead you will cover
  • Measure the crimp or the knot to see whether the crimp cover fits. The 3mm crimp covers are compatible with cord or string less than 1mm thick. The knot should be smaller than 3 X 2mm for the crimp bead to adequately cover the knot. The 4mm crimp covers are compatible with cord or string less than 1.5mm thick. The knot should be smaller than 4 X 3mm.

Install the Crimp Cover

  • Slide the crimp cover over the knot or the crimp bead

Finishing Up

  • Use a pair of beading crimp pliers or needle nose pliers to close the cover bead
