Tibetan and Thai Buddhists use water offering bowls on their altars. The material can be copper, brass or even ceramic. Some offering bowls have carvings on top such as lotus or Buddha. The size can be small or large. Offering bowls are also commonly used in churches or Pagan religious practices such as Wiccan crafts.
